Lauren Longeri

Lauren grew up in London, Ontario where she completed her Honours Specialization in Kinesiology and Minor in Rehabilitation Sciences at Western University in 2018. She then moved to Australia to complete her Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at Bond University where she received first in class on two occasions, as well as the academic research award and graduated with high distinction in 2021. After graduating, Lauren worked at a Pediatric clinic where she treated children with various different neurological, muscuskeletal and chromosomal conditions. Lauren is passionate about early intervention (0-5 years) using play based therapy and values having a long lasting and positive contribution on her client’s lives. She has a special interest in Cerebral Palsy and developmental delay. Lauren is currently a member of the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists, working as part of the Paediatric Spinal Manipulation Task Force on a systematic scoping review. Lauren has received specialized training in the following:

  • Turtle bracing
  • Pediatric Gait analysis and Orthotic Management
  • Assistive Technology Prescription
  • Key Sign Language
  • Toe walking

Outside of work, Lauren loves traveling, hiking, reading and drinking oat lattes!
