Jaclyn Stanley

Jaclyn is a Registered Psychotherapist. She completed her Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology at the University of British Columbia Okanagan.   She then went on to pursue Yorkville’s Master of Arts Counselling Psychology program, where she graduated with honours. She has also received additional training in trauma-focused Cognitive-behavioural Therapy (CBT) and has completed LivingWorks’ Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST).

Jaclyn has a background working with children and completed her practicum at a mental health agency specializing in working with children, youth, and families. Jaclyn has experience counselling individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, emotional regulation, self-harm, trauma, and more. She provides a client-centred approach to ensure her clients receive services tailored to their unique needs and personalities. Jaclyn is excited to be joining the Miller Health team and to begin working with children, youth, and adults in the community!

Jaclyn enjoys doing yoga in her free time, and reading as much as she can. During the summer months, you can find Jaclyn at the beach or the cottage soaking up the sun!
