Responsibilities: 

  • General PEC duties (i.e. patient communication, scheduling, billing, insurance liaison)
  • Supporting clinicians with patient flow
  • General office maintenance 
  • Collaboration with fellow team members to provide an exceptional patient and team experience
  • Other duties as required 

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Experience with one of more of the following considered an asset: third party billing, clinical databases, accounts receivable, retail, social media
  • Certificate in medical office administration preferred but not a requirement
  • Customer service experience 

Competencies:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication style
  • Superior time management
  • Able to excel in a fast-paced environment while balancing competing priorities
  • Proficient with computers, especially word and excel

Requirement:

  • Candidate must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, early mornings and Saturdays.
