Mike is an experienced and highly qualified physiotherapist. He completed his BSc Physiotherapy in 2006 at the University Of Cape Town, and then continued his education by completing a one-year Certificate in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy and a 4-year Masters degree in Exercise Science and Sports Physiotherapy. Mike joins our team all the way from South Africa and has been practicing in private practice for over 16 years. With a passion for treating all types of sports-related injuries, Mike has an impressive track record of working with professional athletes, including national soccer and cricket players, as well as paralympic athletes.
Mike has a special interest in treating shoulder injuries. Throughout his career, Mike has treated a wide variety of different shoulder conditions, from acute and overuse injuries in elite athletes to various post-operative conditions in the general population. His extensive experience and education has equipped him with the expertise to help patients of any sport or walk of life, ensuring the best possible outcome for his patients.
When he’s not at work, Mike enjoys spending time with his wonderful family outdoors. He enjoys hiking and trail running, and now that he lives in Canada has discovered a love for snowboarding!
