Andrew Parks

Dr. Parks was born and raised in Orillia and is excited to be able to practice in his hometown. He has always been active in the local hockey community where he played minor hockey for years, and eventually progressed to the Junior A level. This ultimately led him south of the border, where he played NCAA Division III hockey for Brockport University in New York State, while also studying Biological Sciences. During that time, Andrew was named to the State University of New York Athletic Conference All-Academic Team 3 years in a row, while also being in a leadership role for his team.
After Brockport, Andrew attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2020. He then completed a 3-year sport specialty Fellowship with the esteemed Royal College of Chiropractic Sport Sciences (Canada). His specialty training included working with sports medicine physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, physiatrists and neurologists in various settings. He has worked with professional athletes (NHL, PGA, NBA, MLS, EIHL) and has spent time attending to complex cases in interdisciplinary hospital settings during placements in Toronto’s University Health Network (UHN). Dr. Parks is one of only ~150 chiropractic sport specialists in Canada and has maintained an active research role, including having a number of publications in peer-reviewed academic journals.
Dr. Parks’ primary interests include concussions, sports injuries, neurology, performance, and career prolongation. He also has a passion for health advocacy, equity and education. In the clinic he provides the following therapies:
- Sports injury diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation
- Concussion management and rehabilitation
- Return to sport/work planning and coaching
