What is Naturopathic Medicine?
Naturopathic medicine is a form of healthcare that combines modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine, such as nutrition, movement, herbs, and supplements if needed. It takes into account your health history, personal preferences, and lifestyle. This holistic approach aids in understanding your health better and creating solutions tailored to your wellness goals.
Naturopathic care:
- Takes the time to get to know you.
- Offers in-depth lab testing.
- Utilizes natural therapies to address your concerns.
Naturopathic medicine can help bridge gaps in our medical system while being allies and partners in the healthcare field.
What to Expect at Your Appointment
- Initial appointments are an hour long and this appointment is where we dive into your main health concerns, gather a full health history, and go over any information that may be relevant to creating your personalized treatment plan
- After the initial appointment, you will get a treatment plan tailored to your health goals, including any recommended lab investigations. Treatment plans will be provided to you within 24-72 hours after your initial consultation
- Follow-up appointments are 30 minutes and involve reviewing lab results (if previously recommended), and discussing the progress and effectiveness of the previous treatment plan. We will then continue on the next steps in your health journey with follow-up appointments as needed.
